The beautiful golden beach of Kalkudah along the eastern coast of Sri Lanka is a delightful shore to explore and relax. This was declared as a national holiday resort in 1973. The beach is adorned with coconut palms and it one of the ideal locations for sea bathing, water skiing and windsurfing. The fantasy beach called the Kalkudah Bay beach, a 2 kilometer long wide stretch of beach well protected by off shore reefs is a breathtaking destination that you will not want to leave. The beautiful coconut cultural park is a place in Kalkudah to learn about the uses of coconut.
